The individual packs for Liqun (Soft Red Long Filter) are made from 97 gsm transfer paper supplied in rolls, while the cartons use 227 gsm holographic transfer paper supplied in rolls. Prepress preparation includes gravure cylinder preparation and ink mixing. Text and graphics are reproduced using seven-color gravure printing, with water-based varnish applied in the same pass, followed by inline inkjet printing of QR codes and cutting into sheets. The individual pack sheets then undergo embossing and debossing, die-cutting, and corner trimming in sequence. With its festive appearance, this packaging is suitable for mid-range and premium cigarettes.
