Zenghe Packaging Co., Ltd. is a National High-Tech Enterprise, one of China’s Top 100 Printing Enterprises, and a leading supplier of auxiliary materials to China’s tobacco industry. Its core business is the production and sale of tipping paper, cigarette packaging, and tear tape.

The company has a provincial-level enterprise technology center responsible for new product design and development, the development and application of new processes and technologies, testing services, and technical management.

Covering 2,500 square meters, the technology center houses five specialized laboratories: a constant-temperature and humidity laboratory, a heavy metals laboratory, a Class 100 cleanroom for microbiological testing, a physical testing laboratory, and a chemical laboratory. These facilities meet applicable national standards and are equipped with more than 100 testing instruments, with a total value exceeding RMB 30 million.

Zenghe’s production processes and technical capabilities are among the most advanced in the industry. The company has participated in developing national and industry standards, including YC/T 171-2009, Tipping Paper for Cigarettes; YC/T 330-2009, Roll Packaging for Cigarette Rod and Filter Plug Wrapping Paper; YC/T 277-2008, Specifications and Evaluation Criteria for Establishing Standardization Demonstration Enterprises for Cigarette Tipping Paper; and CY/T 243-2021, Specifications for Building Smart Printing Factories.

Zenghe has consistently emphasized technological innovation, developing products such as hot foil-stamped tipping paper, aluminum-free holographic anti-counterfeiting tipping paper, and transparent holographic anti-counterfeiting tear tape. These developments have delivered both social and economic benefits. The company holds more than 10 invention patents related to product materials and manufacturing processes, as well as a number of utility model patents, including Environmentally Friendly Anti-Counterfeiting Tipping Paper for Cigarettes and Tear Tape with Fluorescent Fiber Anti-Counterfeiting Features.
